Overall management cooling towers (in accordance with AI-32 and ISSO 55.3)
The legislator does not tak half measures when it comes to management of cooling tower installations. Necessary measures have been documented in detail in different reports, for example AI-32 and ISSO 55.3. Owners or representatives are obliged to follow and document any recommendations documented. We are happy to take care of this for you. These measures include the following steps:
- A legionella risk analysis needs to be present. This will stipulate all main concerns.
- The cooling tower installations needs to be clean and needs to be cleaned at least once a year.
- Proper water treatment needs to be in place. which can be carried out with or without using chemicals.
- The cooling tower installation needs to be in excellent technical condition. Including its cooling packages, spray nozzles, intake louvers, ventilators, motor reductors, gearboxes oil, bearings, pulleys etc
- A legionella drinking water analysis needs to be carried every month or every three months.
- All actions and measurements taken need to be recorded in a log.
If you’re not careful, you could end up working with three or four different parties who are all involved in any work relating to your cooling tower installation, who not work together and, in case things get tricky, end up blaming each other.
This won’t be the case at AQ Group. We take care of the above mentioned measures, will make sure the installation works perfectly and ensure all rules and requirements are followed. All the work is carried out by our own personnel, using our own tools and equipment. We will take care of everything.
